A leading delegation from the Urban Planning Department visits Qatar National Museum.

In the context of strengthening the relationship between the urban planning Department and Qatar Museums and in the light of the hosting of the Qatar National Museum of the "Renaissance Doha 1950-2030", a delegation of leaders and department heads under the supervision of engineer Abdullah Al-Karrani, director of the Urban Planning Department, visited the exhibition at the main Gallery of the museum. The exhibition deals with the development of the city of Doha architectural, constructional and schematic. The exhibition sheds light on the urban development paths of the city and presents a comprehensive overview of the development of the Qatari capital over seventy years. It is noteworthy that the Urban Planning Department has contributed to the preparation of the exhibition through a team that provided all the facilities, planning documents, maps and aerial images that illustrate the stages of the city's growth and shifts in its urbanism and planning. In view of the importance of the exhibition, Eng. Abdulla Al-Karrani, director of the Urban Planning Department, decided to make an extensive group visit to all the technical associates to visit the exhibition and learn about the successive chapters of the distinctive story of the construction and planning of Doha and Qatar. The value of Qatar National Museum is also recognized in Qatar's cultural and knowledge landscape.
