Participation of Eng. Abdullahِ AlKarrani in the official delegation of the State of Qatar in Moscow Urban Forum 2018 (MUF) 17-18 July 2018

Eng. Abdullah Al Karrani, Director of Urban Planning Department at Ministry of the environment and municipal participated in the delegation to the Moscow Urban forum 2018 chaired by H. E. Minister Mohamed Al Romaihi, of the municipality and environment which took place in Moscow from 17-18 July 2018. His Excellency The Minister was invited by higher authorities in Russia including Moscow City Mayor, the forum host.
Moscow Urban forum is an annual international Conference. This year's main topic was: urban development challenges in major cities. The Forum has been held annually since 2011. Moscow Forum brings together representatives of urban city administrations from Russia and the world, in addition to architects, urban planners, developers and corporate leaders.
Upon the Minister's instructions, Eng. Abdullahِ AlKarrani participated in eight scientific sessions of the Forum. These sessions covered topics and following themes:
The digital city and social impact on the population of the city and its visitors.
Urban planning and comparison between Paris and Moscow, especially in the light of the world cup and the Olympic games.
Green city: parks and include hierarchy.
Islamic principles of planning for city.
Environmental treatments to the city especially recycling methods.
Conclusions and recommendations
The importance of the continued presence at this level of international events.
Special relations between Qatar State investment and Russia in developing a set of joint technical cooperation mechanisms, particularly between the municipalities of Doha and Moscow.
Exchange of experiences in hosting the World Cup and that Russia has achieved great success and transferred responsibility for the State of Qatar, which will organize the year 2022.
Activating quick cooperation with the municipality of Moscow architectural schematic side.
Activating cooperation with Moscow urban as one of the most important authorities on urban and planning activities in Moscow and Russia.
