The Ministry of Municipality, represented by the Urban Planning Affairs Sector, organized during the period 8-11 November 2021 in Doha the activities of the 75th conference of the International Association of Town and Region Planners (ISOCARP), under the slogan: PLANNING UNLOCKED : NEW TIMES, BETTER PLACES AND STRONGER COMMUNITIES. Over the 4 days, the congress witnessed many speeches, meetings, technical trips, workshops, and discussion sessions, which dealt with various themes included in the congress?s agenda on contemporary urban planning such as sustainability, inclusiveness, empowerment, well-being, healthy and smart cities, development, flexibility, adaptability, exclusivity and urban connectivity.
