Introduction Workshop for (Al-Razi School) about Urban Planning

The Urban Planning Sector had a representative from the urban planning department and the GIS at the Ministry of Municipality and Environment in order to host the students of Al-Razi Preparatory School on Thursday (18/4/2019), to help them determine the major of their future specialization in their studies. The workshop presented a general definition of the concept of planning and who is an urban planner, also, the identification of future plans and projects for planning cities. It also presented the objective and definition of Qatar National Master Plan and its relation to the city and society, and how planning outputs can be linked with the country future plans. Also, the workshop included a definition of Geographic Information Systems and their importance in developing systems as well as the center's services and programs, and other issues suitable for students of the school.
