The Ministry's participation in the Global Conference on the urban future ? Vienna 2018

Ministry of Municipality and environment participated with a delegation headed by Assistant Undersecretary for urban planning with the participation of Mr AbdulAllah alkarrani, Director of urban planning, Mr Jaber Al Qutairi, head of the General planning section in urban future Conference The world in the Austrian capital Vienna from 28 February ? 2 March 2018. One of the most important global events in the field of urban planning and the future of cities. The aim of the Conference was this year's session to study the mechanisms and approaches that make more sustainable cities and smarter by understanding modern urban planning techniques, dealing with intelligent transport and energy and natural resources, the challenges of climate change and its impact on future features and smart cities . As owner of the Conference an exhibition entitled "urban future Expo attended by more than 70 companies specializing in the areas of urban planning, sustainability and urban intelligence techniques, transport and energy as well as the experiences of a group of global cities such as Vienna and Oslo. Speaking at the Conference this year more than 230 participants from more than 100 countries.
Within the framework of conference events and various scientific meetings take Mr Jaber Al Qutairi a research paper entitled "public-private partnership to create smart cities (a case study of Doha, Qatar) has discussed the experience of urban planning and themes of Qatar and fundamental and special products The national framework for the development of Qatar and comprehensive urban plan output. As the focus was on display at a model partnership between the public and private sector in the establishment of smart cities and especially in my project and conveniently City North of Doha. The delegation also communicate with professional leaders and experts and representatives of global cities and planning departments of the Conference participants in preparation for the work of a group of future cooperation initiatives in the areas of urban planning and activation methods and concepts of sustainable and smart cities and Qatar experience in this field.
