Idea

The Development & Innovation Award (Innovate) is an initiative launched by the Ministry of Municipalities and Environment to benefit from its intensive human resources and diversity of competencies covering the various fields of the ministry by motivating them to think innovatively and enhance their competitiveness to attract ideas and development projects that contribute to the development and improvement of performance of the ministry. This will positively reflect on the development and improvement of services provided to the public, and promote and enrich the culture of innovation at the national level. Where ideas are received and development initiatives are formulated in a general framework to be ideas that are applicable and capable of bringing about change, and contribute in the development of work and community improvement in general and improve the services provided by the ministry in particular, and provide a work environment that encourages development, creativity, innovation and initiative.

To encourage the Ministry staff to develop ideas and inventions that contribute to the development and improvement of the services provided by the Ministry to the public and society and to achieve its national mission.

Attracting ideas and initiatives of development that are applicable and capable of bringing about change.

Develop the routine work in the Government Sector and stimulate and enrich the culture of innovation therein.

Standards & Evaluation

Ideas or innovations will be evaluated according to the following basic criteria:

Applicable

Improving and upgrading the level and quality of service or services provided by the Ministry

Achieving the administrative / technical excellence

Resolving an existing problem which is agreed on the need to solve it

Exploiting the available resources in the Ministry

Benefiting a wide sector of the public and different sectors of society

The validity of its use is extended for a long time

App cost is appropriate and not overpriced

AWARD THEME

The Initiative proposed by the applicant employee should be covered by an idea. It may be proposed to develop a procedure or propose solutions that exist or may be tried and tested but are not applicable in the Ministry.
